FD30 OR FD60 RATED FIRE DOORS?
We stock a wide range of FD30 and FD60 rated fire doors that are suitable for home installations as well as for commercial properties such as hotels. FD30 rated doors (as the name suggests) provides at least 30 minutes of protection from fire and FD60 rated doors provide a minimum of 60 minutes of protection.
Our FD30 and FD60 fire doors can both be used in homes although it is the FD30 doors that are commonly found in homes.
FIRE DOOR STYLES & FITTING
With a range of internal fire doors on offer there should be something to suit the style of your home. We stock oak fire doors, white moulded fire doors as well as flush, panelled and glass panelled fire doors.
It is important to ensure you also buy the right fittings to hang your doors. As fire doors tend to be much heavier than standard doors it is usually recommended to use three hinges per door. Fire door hinges and fixings are also recommended to ensure maximum protection against fire, dangerous fumes and smoke.
